i picked up this frame at a yard sale this summer for a buck!
the glass was scratched,
and it was in dire need of my special touch...
the handles were filthy! but beautiful.
i scrubbed the handles, sprayed 'em with a clear wood finish and sanded the frame.
i was almost tempted to let it...
but in my head, i could see the finished product.
i decoupaged English-French dictionary pages on the back side of the glass...
(spent much more time with that than putting it on the top of the glass!)
but she's gerr-gee-us! sittin' on my coffeetableturnedfootstool that deserves a post - soon!
she's just waiting to serve someone!
but for tonight...
she's look-in' pre-tty for the Christmas House Tour -
TOMORROW!
i'm told there will be two to three HUNDRED walking through my house!
oh dear!
should i tell them to take their shoes off?
will i STAY smiley and pleasant for
two to three HUNDRED people?!
will i be able to TALK on sunday after talking to two to three HUNDRED people in six hours?!
