Kyra's Birthday

Our youngest grandchild had her first birthday over the week end - sweet little Kyra!
She wasn't sure what to do with it...
 so she poked at it...
and after doing some coaxing, took a bite.
Finally relaxing enough to enjoy it -
and the ten other people watching her clapped and cheered!
Sweet little Kyra!

10 other people?!
No wonder she didn't dive right in! She didn't know what to do with 10 other people waiting and watching her cake! LOL...
my oldest daughter was like that, she wouldn't eat if we were watching her. silly kids.

Looks fun and she is smiling! I've seen some first birthdays were the child is NOT smiling.

...gotta love 'em! Pat

Hello Esther, I wanted to thank you for the inspiration you gave me the other week when you blogged about simple christmas decorating. On Monday night we had a ladies christmas party at church and we did recycled crafts. One of your ideas was the glass jar with music wrapped around it. Which each lady could make and take. That inspired me to look for more ideas with music sheet decorating and also making flowers with empty toilet paper rolls. The ladies loved it! So thanks again and also for your posts. Lois R.
