the sun was wonderful today...i smelled spring!
the bedding was washed and hung out -
so deliciously scented when it came in the house!
love this design on my pillowcase!
i had high hopes of making a slipcover for our recliner...
i spent three hours on that project.
let me tell you,
sheer frustration!
i wanted to drown my sorrows in chocolate!
i watched a movie instead.

yesterday i attended Ladies Connect at our church...
a talented mom of five young children made these delightfully delicious treats!
oh-h-h...were they good!
you can find the cinnamon blueberry cake recipe HERE,
instead of a cake they were baked as a muffin.

I bought a recliner cover at Kohls for ours and let me tell you it looks great and was a lot easier than making one! I got mine on sale for about $35.00 in a neutral color and it comes in pieces that fit around all the moving parts of a recliner and stretches around them too. Just a thought for a time out from frustration! I am sure you will come up with something beautiful no matter what!
I have never even tried to cover a chair let alone a recliner so you are braver then me!
The treats look delicious and I love white linens on the clothes line.

your bedsheets hanging out to dry photo is beautiful! You've got a great eye. wish I coulda watched a movie with you.
Such beautiful pictures...yummy looking too!
Lovely photos of the sheets on the line, sweet image on your pillowcase, too. I'm so sorry you weren't able to make your slipcover. I have thought about it, that's as far as I have gotten. It's not an easy project.
What great treats!
Hugs, Cindy
