dinningroom update...

...IT still looks like this.
 waiting for hubs to paint it - hopefully on Saturday.
if not, it'll wait but the furniture will be put in place - can't live with this mess!

in the meantime...
i worked on the bathroom and it's messy, too!

and making fabric flowers for another project.
never a dull moment!

Janie, cut three different sizes of strips of has to be a poly fabric or ribbon satin of a kind that melts...mine was approx 4", 3", 2", & cut it in squares, stack em on top of each to cut rounded edges. it doesn't need to be perfect, in fact, if they're oddly shaped it makes a better flower. use a tea or small candle, hold fabric over flame close enough so it melts the fabric. if it burns the edges just cut it off & re-melt it. it's easy to do, just don't get too close to the flame! good luck & let me know how it goes! :)
