i have no 'special room' set aside for this, though i dream of having a place to mend and paint and have a sale several times a year. in the meanwhile, i use the garage...
the basement,
the dinning room table,
the outdoors,
the back deck,
and the kitchen table.
then another light went on! my part of the utility shed was empty emptier because of the summer things moved outside. so...
i set up shop there -
with two saw horses and two pieces of plywood
and a new and better place to transform my finds!
and...
i live with nature!
glory be...i love it!
there will at least four more moons to use this space,
after that...well, then i'll go back to my other places till next summer!
blessedness!

Girl, I saw some things I want! One can be creative anywhere and everywhere! Where would we be without spray paint? ~Robin~
I do think our gardens are our creative spaces. You are blessed to have so many places to paint all your treasures.
Nothing is more creative than the beauty found in gardens. Love your creative space!
Best wishes,

What an amazing space you have created! You have inspired me to add to my own crafting area.
I adore all of your storage solutions.
What a lovely thought - "create wherever you are" - I think you have a wonderful idea and in just doing it you have created such a great space. Congratulations and keep creating! I love Shabby Chic, too, and helped my daughter create the look in her apartment this year. Boy was that fun!
Blessings,
Tricia
Nothing is more inspiring to me than "mother nature" and I can see she's blessed you with her presence....such a beautiful garden.

It doesn't matter where you do it... as long as you do!! I'm so glad you found a style that makes your heart sing! I peaked at the statue you re-did, and he is lovely! And so is your garden! Thank you so much for joining the party and sharing all that you do!!

You definitely do have a lovely view. It looks so peaceful. I have several different crafting areas too all over my house. Thanks for sharing.
Love your creative space...and I really love what you do! Maybe because it reminds me of things I have had to do in the past and sometimes now. Thanks so much for sharing it all with us.
How terrific to have such a lovely spot even if for a short time - it's just beautiful!
such a nice big spot to create in-love all the shabby projects!
I am so happy for you - to have had the opportunity to find you and your own style!!!! And that you create - proof that it doesn't matter where, a creative person will find a way!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

How I love the story of how you finally discovered what made your heart sing...my husband is next to oldest of 8 children..all he did was help raise the younger ones to take some pressure off his mom. I can only imagine the biz-e-ness of 13 children..my goodness, it had to be a flurry of activity at all times.
I love shabby chic too..so glad to meet you and to stroll through all the areas you use at different times to transform your treasures. Thanks so much for sharing it with me.
I'd love for you to come stroll through my studio..it's been a long process but it's all finally finished!
Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥
It just goes to show that you can create anywhere, and it looks like you did until you found that perfect space that was waiting just for you to claim it. I love that you (and I) love free things. I will go out of my way for free things. I bet you will too.
I was raised an only child, but my grandparents were interested in my getting a good science education. So in a way, I can relate to your younger years. I have truly enjoyed this tour and seeing your newly found studio. Thanks for sharing.
Love your garden!!
I wish I had a dedicated area to spray paint those larger items. Right now I have to do it outside, so Winters here make it very difficult to paint. I think I try to cram all my projects that need painting done as quickly as I can, even if they have to sit awhile before I actually get to the project. I love those birdcages!
Hi Esther, well I for one simply adore your creative space, everything is so beautiful. Looks like you are a busy girl, love all the before and after pics. Thanks for sharing.

Your garden is gorgeous! I love that you transition between indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between to create your shabby chic magic! Thank you for sharing.
Love your resourcefulness in finding different spaced to create...it is truly inspiring! BTW, your garden is so very dreamy:)
Sweet paint room. I love it! Connie
Such a fun place! I love how you are portable with your creations and can create no matter where you are. Fun tour, thank you!
Sorry I am a bit late for the tour but I have had to stop alot along the way. Thank you for the wonderful tour of your lovely space. it is superb. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day. Angela
Good Morning,
I can so relate...I create all over the place too...the kitchen, the garage, the shop, the deck, upstairs, downstairs...you have some great projects going on!
Yes, I am still visiting the artists in Karen's 'where bloggers create' Party...and having a great time, too. Thank you for sharing your creative spaces with us. Have a wonderful weekend. ~Natalie
What beauty all around you. And you may have not considered yourself crafty before but you most certainly are today. I am new to the blog world (2 wks!) and I get my inspiration from other crafters blogs. I want to thank you for the inspiration that you have given my this morning~ Sherry F.
